BOLLYWOOD UPDATES

Kareena Kapoor to do special song in Akshay Kumar's 'Gabbar'
Mumbai: Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan will be doing a special song in Akshay Kumar starrer film `Gabbar`.

There were rumours that Kareena would be playing the leading lady opposite Akshay in Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Shabina Khan`s `Gabbar`, but Shabina dismissed the report.

"She will only be doing a special song in the film. It is a two day song. We are yet to decide what kind of song it will be and when we will shoot for it. We are excited to work with Kareena again," Shabina told PTI.
This is Kareena`s second special song in Akshay`s film which is backed by Shabina. The first time they collaborated together was for a special song `Chinta Ta Ta Chita Chita` in `Rowdy Rathore`.
`Gabbar` is a Hindi remake of the 2002 Tamil blockbuster `Ramanna`. It revolves around a group of students lead by a professor, who opts for violent means to fight a corrupt system.
A major part of the film will reportedly be shot in different locations in Mumbai. It is slated to go on floors in January next year.

Nothing vulgar in 'Rajjo', says Vishwas Patil

New Delhi: Vishwas Patil`s ‘Rajjo’ is based on the life of a prostitute, but the director has ensured that no inappropriate dialogues or bold scenes are included in the film.

"I always wanted to make a family film, and you can see this in my film as well, although it is about a prostitute who tries hard to survive. I did not use any abusive language and hot scenes in the film," Patil said in a statement.
The director wanted his debut film to be a complete family entertainer.
"My priority was to make a family film rather than a film for a particular age group. I can assure you that you can watch this film with your family," he said.
At a time when item numbers seem to be an essential feature of films today, ‘Rajjo’ has none.
"Music director Uttam Singh decided to swim against the tide and resisted including such songs in the soundtrack of `Rajjo`," said a source close to the film.
Produced by Four Pillars Entertainment, ‘Rajjo’ stars Kangana Ranaut, Paras Arora, Prakash Raj, Mahesh Manjrekar and Jaya Prada. It will hit screens Nov 15.

‘Bigg Boss 7’: Link-ups, heart-breaks and lots more...

Mumbai: Weeks after its seventh edition began, popular show ‘Bigg Boss’ is fast turning more and more interesting to watch, mainly due to some of its famous inmates who have now supposedly become lovebirds.

Here, we are referring to lovebirds - Armaan Kohli and Tanissha; Kushal Tandon and Gauhar Khan.
Armaan’s alleged ‘real’ relationship status was brought out in public by fellow contestant Viveik Mishra, who revealed that the actor was indeed engaged to a girl called Tanya Singh just days before entering the show.
This shattered Tanishaa, who by then seemed to have had developed some warm feelings for him. Tanisha, who hails from a powerful filmi khandan, couldn’t restrict herself from maintaining distance from Armaan and superstar host Salman Khan too had to tell the two of them to stay away from each other.
Salman told the duo during a previous episode that cameras were closely watching them.
Gauhar and Kushal’s relationship status too might change after they come out of the house, for they seem to be really “in love”.
But the big question is- are they really serious?
‘Bigg Boss’ season 4 had seen love blossoming between Pakistani starlet Veena Malik and Indian actor Ashmit Patel. After their stints in the show, they were spotted together quite often. They may have parted ways now, but the house of ‘Bigg Boss’ has united the two hearts!
Last season, ‘Bigg Boss’ cashed in on estranged couple Rajev Paul and Delnaaz Irani, who couldn’t refrain from displaying their discomfort in each other’s presence.
However, real life couple - Apoorva Agnihotri and Shilpa Saklani - did not have much spice to offer! It will be interesting to see if the two alleged couples are able to confess their feelings for each other clear and loud, or will there be some twist to the tale!

What all does Aamir Khan have in store for us?

Mumbai: Aamir Khan, considered to be one of India`s leading method actors, believes in quality and not quantity. And his choice is evident from the number of projects he undertakes each year.

In a career spanning over two and a half decades, `Mr. Perfectionist` as he is popularly known, has tried his hands at various genres.
As a director, Aamir stole the thunder with a thought provoking ‘Taare Zameen Par’, and as a producer, he won hearts with an offbeat ‘Peepli Live’.
Aamir is perhaps the only industry heavyweight whose films appeal the niche audiences and the masses alike. An out and out commercial flick- ‘Dhoom 3’ with Aamir playing the antagonist is all set to make a splash on the silver screen this December, a genre he has never tried before!
Apart from this much-awaited action thriller, Aamir is busy with Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Peekay’, which also stars Anushka Sharma and Sushant Singh Rajput.
The film has been in news for a variety of reasons - Aamir’s attire, his alleged onscreen lip-lock with co-star Anushka Sharma and a scene from the film, which had reportedly hurt religious sentiments of a certain community.
Nonetheless, Aamir has a lot more to offer as his TV show ‘Satyamev Jayate’ may return to the small screen early next year. According to the latest buzz, Aamir may start working on his TV show soon.

Ranbir Kapoor's superhero film to be different from 'Krrish 3'

Mumbai: Actor Ranbir Kapoor is excited to do a superhero film with director-friend Ayan Mukherjee, but clarifies that it is not on the lines of `Krrish 3`.

Ranbir will play a superhero in the yet-untitled project, making him the next actor after Hrithik Roshan and Shah Rukh Khan to essay character with superpowers on celluloid.
"It is not like `Krrish 3`, it is something very different, it is going to be a fantasy film. It is going to be a trilogy which Ayan has just started writing. We share a great personal and professional relation," Ranbir told reporters.
"Till now we are in developing stage, he is going abroad for a post production course. Hopefully, we will try and make something path-breaking," he said.
This would be the third film of Ranbir and Ayan after `Wake Up Sid` and `Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani`. Both the films were hit at the box office.
Ranbir is also looking to explore himself by playing different roles in films.
"My next film is titled `Bombay Velvet`. I am playing a boxer in the film. Then I am working on Imtiaz Ali`s film and Ayan Mukherjee`s superhero film. I will start this film by end of next year. I am trying to do different characters, like in `Besharam` I played a vulgar, road type tapori character," Ranbir said.
He also expressed his desire to do an action movie, which is the current flavour of Bollywood.
"Since six years I have been trying to make my body but it is not happening. I can`t do a full fledged action film till I don`t have the body. But I do feel action comes from intensity in your eyes and the way you work for it," he added.

'Mickey Virus' review: Cool, crisp and quirky

‘Mickey Virus’ is Bollywood`s first full-fledged film on the virtual world. The hero -if we may call Manish Paul`s languid lazy vagabondish character that - is a computer hacker, and one who likes to take his time over every punch of the keyboard.
Mercifully, debutant director Saurabh Varma`s film moves in a mood defiantly opposite to the hero`s indolent indiscretions. Tightly-scripted, cleverly-worded and arrestingly encrypted, ‘Mickey Virus’ drags the hackers` hemisphere into the hectic mode.
I am tempted to use computer jargon to describe the ultra-svelte moves that define the virtual progression of this slickly-executed cyber-drama. Alas, I am not as equipped as our debutant hero and his comp-friendly pals (with names like `Floppy` and `Chutney`) to throw around electronic jargon.
Even if your familiarity with the virtual world is minimal, ‘Mickey Virus’ makes for enjoyable viewing. It`s voguish, vibrant, vital and viral, and yet extremely fastidious about keeping the plot above the temptation of throwing virtual weight around.
First and foremost, this is a well-woven thriller about an average 20-something Delhi dude who falls in love and falls into a cyber-trap and hits his head into a scam that could destroy his life.
To reveal any more of the plot would be akin to giving away the film`s USPs. Suffice to say that Varma knows his cinema as closely as he knows his computer. He weaves cinematic elements into a kind of one-night-in-the-life-of ... tale that spins in dizzying motions.
Delhi, that favourite city of many recent, decent and indecent, dramas and thrillers, is again caught in sinister provocative postures. The roads and lanes, Nehru Place or a chowmein outlet, every outdoor location has a story to tell.
Strange, how Manish, switching effortlessly from his cocky on-stage antics on reality shows to a kind of languorous screen appearance that is dangerously close to Ranbir Kapoor`s Sid-meets-‘Besharam’ act, pulls out all stops to make Mickey look real to the point of being your next door neighbour`s son, much in the same way as Ayushmann Khurrana.
Only, Manish is goofier, more adventurous in his exploration of adrift urbanite. He is undoubtedly an interesting actor with an unpremeditated screen presence.
Let`s put it this way -- if over-instruction obstructs Mickey`s dexterity on the computer, then too many rehearsals are sure to spoil Manish`s camera-friendliness.
‘Mickey Virus’ gives the debutant a chance to romance the dark side of youngistan with unselfconscious fluidity. There is also a cutely written romance woven into the hacker`s tale. Eli Avram currently locked away in ‘Bigg Boss’ house shows up as a manifestation of ... well, Manish`s virtual fantasy named Kungfu Chameli. There is an endearing courtship plan blessedly not over-punctuated by songs. God Forbid! Manish`s Mickey probably doesn`t even watch Bollywood films!
For a newcomer to shoulder a thriller adeptly there must be some accomplished actors around him for support. Manish gets his namesake Manish Choudhary as a stern placid police officer who needs Mickey`s hacking skills to track an international gang. Choudhary is in fine (uni)form. But the very talented Varun Badola as Choudhary`s assistant is a scene stealer. Mouthing the film`s catchiest lines casually, Varun brings more to his role than what`s written for the character. The rest of the supporting cast too gets into the mood of the plot.
Undoubtedly, ‘Mickey Virus’ is Manish`s made-to-order vehicle. He casually invites us into his suddenly-troubled world and then persuades us to cringe at the progressive crisis built around Delhi`s cyber stratosphere. The uniqueness of the plot works effectively in covering up the loopholes and rather embarrassing coincidences that bridge various dramatic elements in the plot. It does get far-flung. But the leaps are made without fractured bones.
Quirky, colourful, agile and hectic, ‘Mickey Virus’ is a `virtually` interesting way for Manish and his director to start their respective careers. This is an oddball of a movie that tries to make sense of the senseless whirligig of urban internet-driven lifestyles.
What the `hack`! Just go out there and have fun.

What's wrong between Sushant Singh Rajput, Ankita Lokhande?

New Delhi: If the latest buzz is anything to go by then promising actor Sushant Singh Rajput was slapped by his ladylove Ankita Lokhande! Yes, you heard it right. According to a tabloid, the popular TV actress slapped her beau outside Yash Raj studio, where the actor was shooting for his next.
Reportedly, Ankita lost her cool after she checked Sushant`s phone. A heated argument followed thereafter and ended with the slap `act`!
“When Sushant came out, she asked him for his phone. He took it out from his pocket and handed it over to her. Visibly perturbed, she checked the phone for around two minutes or so,” the tabloid quoted a source as saying.
However, Sushant’s spokesperson denied the report and had a different story altogether to share.
“There is absolutely no truth to this story. Sushant had a hearty laugh when he was told about it,” Sushant’s spokesperson was quoted by the tabloid
Here`s hoping all is well between this cute couple.

The 33-year-old actor, who had been chosen to play the billionaire in the much-awaited adaptation, backed out of the movie due to scheduling conflicts, said the Hollywood Reporter.
"The filmmakers of `Fifty Shades of Grey` and Charlie Hunnam have agreed to find another male lead given Hunnam`s immersive TV schedule which is not allowing him time to adequately prepare for the role of Christian Grey," Universal Pictures said in a statement.

`Sons of Anarchy` star`s TV production was to reportedly end on October 21 and the movie production was set to start in November.
Another reason cited for Hunnam`s exit is the hype created around the casting.
"He was overwhelmed with the attention he received from being cast in the movie and got cold feet about carrying such a high-profile project," a source said.
"Universal was forced to hire bodyguards for the actor at a recent `Sons of Anarchy` premiere, where questions about Fifty Shades dominated the red carpet," the source added.

The 49-year-old admits the lonely sessions took a serious toll on her mental health, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
Director Alfonso Cuaron had to keep a close eye on her to ensure she didn`t lose her cool and he used her son, Louis, to cheer her up whenever he felt she needed a boost.
"I was depressed, I was angry, I would get so sad because it was a black room, no human contact, they took away sound... `What they did was, Alfonso could see, because he had cameras always on my face, he would be like, `She`s cracking, she`s cracking, go get the kid`," Bullock said on a talk show.

Think of celebrities as our gladiator class: they step into the ring and do all sorts of stuff we'd never dream of doing ourselves. We watch through our fingers when they do, but we never look away. We love them as specimens, powerful in ways we could never be. We love them for being more perfect than we are. But we also love them when they're not.
It's not exactly Schadenfreude, the self-affirmation we feel when someone with every advantage fails. Okay, maybe we did delight in that Britney head-shaving, but there's something else in there, and it's not really about wanting them to feel bad. It's about us feeling good when we forgive them. It's reverse Schadenfreude, if you will, founded in our Puritan past.
So feel free to falter, Kardashians. Steal Taylor's spotlight, Kanye, we totally understand. And yes, Anne Heche, there really is a spaceship waiting to take you to heaven.
Let loose your grip Hollywood. We'll be there to catch you when you fall. And we'll be feeling fantastic about ourselves while we do.

Abraham Lincoln Face-Off: Spielberg vs. The Vampire Hunter

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
It's only natural the Obama presidency would trigger a national re-evaluation of race in America: we now have a counterweight to our shame about slavery. And what better way to articulate it than with tales of The Great Emancipator?
One year after Obama took office, Seth Grahame-Smith's Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter hit the bookshelves. By 2012, the film version of that historical mash-up was released, beating out Steven Spielberg's Lincoln by a few months. The latter was penned by a more intellectual writer, Tony Kushner. It was showered with accolades, and more than doubled the take of its supernatural sibling. Makes sense, when you think about it. A film depicting our higher selves should entail high-culture storytelling. But where the historical version walked us to the edge, the pop version said out loud what we know to be true: slavery is colonial vampirism.
There's no point in being binary, I suppose. Films for the most part are pop culture, even historical ones. So we got to have it both ways, plain spoken and erudite. And why not? We deserve to bask in the story of this significant pivot away from our past.
Personally, I dug the dude with the axe.

No Common Villain: Why Boyd Crowder from 'Justified' Breaks the Mold

Justified
Every drama needs to have a villain. It's what creates friction for the protagonist. Some of the shows make the antagonist so horrible that they might as well be wearing a mustache that they twirl at every opportunity (see every single person Chuck Norris went up against in Walker, Texas Ranger). Justified's Boyd Crowder is no common villain. In fact, he might be the best one on TV or at least in the Top 5.
Walton Goggins is a force of nature when portraying Crowder. People take one look at him and dismiss as him as a country bumpkin, but there's a seething intellect burning behind those eyes. Crowder speaks eloquently and is prone to quoting from the most esoteric works. Not bad for a man who spent a good portion of his life working in a mine (that's how he knows Deputy Marshal Raylan Givens, the show's protagonist; they worked in the same mine). But for all Crowder's veneer of civility, there is a coldness to him, one where he will kill whoever stands in his way, with the same amount of thought given to squashing a bug. He can be laughing and smiling one minute and then be training his gun on you, his eyes dead.
The relationship between Crowder and Givens is partly what makes this show so fascinating. The two men are clearly on the opposite sides of the law, but hold each other in some regard, since both have come to each other's rescue more than once during the show's run. It's going to be fascinating to see what happens in the next season, with Crowder having a chance at a somewhat normal life ripped out from under his feet.
I'm no stranger to Goggins' work, having seen his turn next to Michael Chiklis on The Shield. In fact, one thing I lament is that there would never be a crossover on Breaking Bad. I'd be very curious to see what Crowder would think of Heisenberg.
Funny thing was, Crowder was supposed to die as he did in the short story, "Fire In The Hole," that inspired Justified. I'm glad that the showrunners decided against that

Ratan Rajput reveals the game playing tactics being used in the 'Bigg Boss' house

New Delhi: TV star Ratan Rajput, who became the fourth contestant to get evicted from reality show `Bigg Boss`, is relieved to be out of the house after 28 days as she was finding it hard to survive the politics between the inmates.
The actress says she overestimated her strength but staying in `Bigg Boss` has taught her that she can`t handle fake people and indulge in politics.
"People there had come with a plan. It was uncomfortable for me to stay there because 14 strange people were thrown together and you cannot trust anyone because there are groups. Also, there was a class system as some people (I don`t want to name them) would think they were special because they came from a film family.
"But, I think everyone was equal there as we all were the part of same show. It is not like they were participating in Big Brother," Ratan said in her post exit interview.
Ratan, however, is happy that despite so many fights within the house, she did not face any misbehaviour from anyone, though she is aware that people may have talked badly behind her back.
The actress, who found fame on TV with `Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo` and her `Swayamvar` on TV and subsequent break-up, said she is not a bad person and not very dramatic so when things became difficult for her, she became quiet, which may have been a reason for her exit.
When asked about the new romance between Tanisha and Armaan Kohli, Ratan quipped, "I think they are inspired by Gauhar and Kushal. But Gauhar and Kushal are definitely more than good friends."
She also believes that Armaan, who is gaining the reputation of a bully thanks to his frequent outbursts, is a strong player but Ratan says he and Tanisha are giving everything to stay on top of the game.
Ratan likes the way Kushal is playing the game, which she says is clean as he does not go and gossip about people behind their back. She also finds Gauhar a strong player and wants Shilpa to be among the finalists as she had come to like her.
Andy is another player that Ratan liked.
"I could not understand Andy in the beginning. He is very nice to you but behind your back he will not spare you. However, he would not lie to you and tell you upfront that I said this about you. Once, I understood that, I became friends with him," Ratan said.
As far as Kamya Punjabi, who nominated Ratan, is concerned, Ratan believes that she is bold but not in front of Armaan. Ratan finds Pratusha Banerjee to be a good player because she manages to stay out of things by playing the innocent card.
Asked about her future plan, the actress said, "Right now, I want to stay with my family. I was very scared after I came out of the show as I would feel that cameras are still following me. I need some time to relax.
"I just can`t stop crying, it is such a relief. I decided to participate in the show as I had declined it twice earlier and though there is nothing wrong with the show, the format was too tough for me," she said.

"Tour ends. Will miss the frenzy and the noise. Perth you were extremely fulfilling and so gentle. (I) Am glad I could feel you all. Live happy," Shah Rukh tweeted after the tour-end.
From `Lungi dance` to `Ghaghra` and `Lat lag gayi`, the celebrities rocked the dance floor by grooving to hit numbers. And their energy was so infectious that the audience too grooved with them.

'Raanjhanaa' director coming up with another romantic film with Dhanush

Mumbai: Director Anand L Rai, whose `Raanjhanaa` generated good response at the box office, is coming up with another romantic film and is currently working on the script.

When Amitabh Bachchan went on his knees for Sangeeta Ghosh

Mumbai: In a dramatic, "dream come true" moment for Sangeeta Ghosh, megastar Amitabh Bachchan went down on his knees with a rose in his hand, and recited a dialogue from his movie `Silsila` for the actress on the set of `Kaun Banega Crorepati`.No, it wasn`t real case of `Cheeni Kum` chemistry, but just a demonstration of a romantic proposal that Big B was giving to actor Ruslaan Mumtaz, Sangeeta`s co-star in the show `Kehta Hai Dil...Jee Le Zara`.
Sangeeta and Ruslaan made a special appearance on the show for its Dussehra special episode, which will be aired Sunday.
When the thespian, who turned 71 earlier this week, asked young Ruslaan as to when will his character finally express his feelings to Sangeeta`s character on the show, Ruslaan said: "Sir aapne bol diya hai ab mein jald kar dunga (Now that you have said it, I will do it soon)".
As a test, Big B asked Ruslaan to give a demo of his prospective proposal. He gave Ruslaan a rose, and asked him to go ahead and propose to Sangeeta. But Ruslaan did an unimpressive and immature job.
That is when Big B intervened and said that if this is how a boy will ever propose, the girl will run away. He then took the rose from Ruslaan and went down on his knees and recited a dialogue from the movie `Silsila` and proposed to Sangeeta.
Sangeeta`s happiness knew no bounds and she kept blushing through the entire show, said a source.

'La Dolce Vita': Anil Kapoor walks the ramp for Ashish N Soni at WIFW finale

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor turned show stopper for designer Ashish N Soni`s finale titled `La Dolce Vita` at the Wills Lifestyle India fashion week.
The actor looked dapper in a white shirt paired with a dinner jacket as he sashayed down the ramp, a bright red multilevel stage set reminiscent of an Opera theatre.
"This might come as a surprise but much before I became an actor, I modelled. I had walked down the ramp for late Mr Dhirubai Ambani for a travel show...And later became an actor," Anil said.
The monochrome collection saw peplum dresses, polka dot shirt and trousers, flared skirts, jackets, short satin dresses, trench coats, ball gowns, dinner jackets and tuxedos.
The fabrics used by Ashish were mostly satin and silk.
"I was super excited about doing the finale. I hope it went well and with Mr Kapoor walking the ramp, it couldn`t have been better," Ashish said.
The models walked down the stairs set on the ramp to live singing and music by a jazz band.
`La Dolce Vita`, in English means `The Sweet Life`, and was a 1960 comedy-drama film written and directed by the critically acclaimed director Federico Fellini.
The movie was a story of a passive journalist`s week in Rome, and his search for both happiness and love that will never come.
It had won the Palme d`Or (Golden Palm) at the 1960 Cannes Film Festival and the Oscar for Best Costumes.

What's common between Naomi Watts, Princess Diana?

London: Actress Naomi Watts, who is essaying the titular role in `Diana`, shares a sense of humour similar as the late Princess of Wales, who tragically died in a car crash in Paris in 1997."Regarding similarities between Naomi and Diana - they both like to tell dirty jokes," femalefirst.co.uk quoted director Oliver Hirschbiegel as saying.
Watts agrees with the director. According to her, Diana used to also like telling jokes at the start of her day."Yes, why not? A good dirty joke, every now and then. Early in the morning, (on set) before conquering the day! Diana used to do that too, that`s true," she said.
The 44-year-old hopes that people will concentrate on the elements which relate her to Diana rather than what makes them different.
Watts has been earlier been a part of films like `Tank Girl`, `Children of the Corn IV: The Gathering` and `Sleepwalkers`.

Jessie J. Is Killing Music

Jessie J appears on Australian breakfast TV show Sunrise Featuring: Jessie J Where: Sydney, Australia When: 23 Aug 2013 Credit: WENN.com **Not Available for publication in Australia and New Zealand**

Hey, Jessie! Pink called. She wants her vibe back. ‘Diva’ and ‘angsty shaven-headed rock chick’ are a fatal cocktail and, yep - pop music just left in a body bag.

Fans of Jessie J classics like ‘Do It Like A Dude’ and ‘Price Tag’ should go crash a different party immediately. Park your wondering if the song is more over-produced…or over-sung?
Never mind that this track is essentially a cover of ‘It’s My Party (And I’ll Cry If I Want To)’ that adds nothing while draining the original like an out-of-ideas pop vampire.
And, just take in the fact that this video packs more product placement than a Michael Bay movie. Credit where credit’s due: that Beats by Dre ‘Pill’ speaker (which Jessie endorses in real life) shines in its supporting role.
Hard to believe this hot mess comes from the same Swarovski-coated lips that once opined:

Bow Down: No One Will Ever Be Able To Out-Diva Mariah Carey

Diva is a complicated word. Secretly, we all know that it’s really a stand-in for another word often used to describe powerful women who take no prisoners, and must have things their way. But there’s something about the way Mariah Carey gets her diva on that makes it look so ridiculously fun. Divas come and go, but Ms. Mimi-- and the glittery, fabulous world she inhabits-- is a pop culture staple. Here are just a few reasons why nobody will ever be able to out-diva Mariah.

Dislocated Shoulders Can’t Stop Her Diva
A little while back Mariah dislocated her shoulder on the set of a video. Rather than cancel some of her upcoming appearances, she started rocking these insane blinged-out, feather-clad arm slings everywhere because that’s what divas do.
Sometimes She Gets Married At Disney World
Only Mariah would hit up Disney World after-hours for a vow renewal ceremony like no other. This year she and hubby Nick Cannon celebrated five years of wedded bliss (and the second birthdays of their adorable twins) with a wedding at the happiest place on Earth.
Even Her Instagram Account Is Blinged Out

Have you ever just scrolled through someone’s Instagram photos without really paying attention, and still been blinded by all the diamond necklaces, butterfly rings, and studded stilettos? No? Then you haven’t been to @mariahcarey before.
She Was The Best Thing To Happen To Her Husband’s Show

Mariah recently made a guest appearance on her husband’s MTV show Wild ‘N Out, and shut the whole thing down. During a skit in which Nick was supposed to hit on another woman, Mrs. Cannon came on the scene and totally stole the show. The moment was epic, her tube top was epic, and the whole thing was hilarious.
Her Christmas Comes But Twice A Year

Winter Snowstorm Nemo might have gotten some folks down, but not The Diva. She literally used the storm as an excuse to celebrate Christmas in February. When she shared this video on Twitter, some folks thought she’d kind of lost it (we all remember the post-Glitter meltdown), but in reality this is just a true diva gone wild. Not everyone can get away with these kind of antics, but it’s Mimi’s world and we need to learn how to live in it.

'Rush': Watch Olivia Wilde & Ron Howard Talk About Why We Find the '70s Romantic

Rush treats its Formula 1 racing subjects James Hunt (Chris Hemsworth) and Niki Lauda (Daniel Brühl) like gods, no doubt. But it's Olivia Wilde who makes the best entrance in the film as Suzy Miller, a British supermodel who finds Hunt and his throbbing engine attractive. In the video above we caught up with Wilde at the Toronto Film Festival about her role as Miller and why she thinks we all seem to find the '70s so romantic these days. We also asked that question of Ron Howard, for whom the answer seems pretty obvious: the '70s were a romantic time for him, as Happy Days was the #1 TV show in the world and he was just getting his start behind the camera directing Grand Theft Auto for Roger Corman, another movie about vehicular destruction. Is Rush a full-circle moment for him then? Watch below to find out.

Liam Hemsworth moves out Miley Cyrus' house?

Los Angeles: A moving truck was spotted outside Miley Cyrus` home and it fuelled rumours that Liam Hemsworth moved his belongings out of his ex-fiancee`s place.
The `Hunger Games` star, who confirmed that he and the `We Can`t Stop` hitmaker had called off their engagement, moved the last of his belongings out of her home in Toluca Lake, Los Angeles on September 20, reported Radar online.
"A large white removal truck was parked outside the former couple`s love nest for several hour but it is still unclera that where the items were headed," a source said.
The 23-year-old actor was recently spotted passionately kissing his new flame Eiza Gonzalez outside of a Beverly Hills apartment. She is also said to be the same woman he cozied up to in Las Vegas last weekend.

Ben Affleck will do good as Batman: Stan Lee

Los Angeles: Comic book legend Stan Lee is sure that actor Ben Affleck will do a brilliant job in the role of Batman in `Man Of Steel`.
"He`s a good actor and I wish him all the luck in the world. He`ll probably do a good job as Batman," contactmusic.com quoted Lee as saying.
Fans of the film don`t seem to support the casting, and they have even launched an online petition in order to force the filmmakers to look for a different actor to essay the part.
Affleck has been a part of films like `Chasing Amy` and ` Dogma`.

Bigg Boss 7: Salman Khan drops a bomb, says would not want my kids to watch the show!

Mumbai: In a recent interview with a reputed newspaper, Bollywood actor and Bigg Boss host Salman Khan said that he would not want his kids to watch such obnoxious stuff on TV.
While talking about the fights on the show, Salman said that he does not like contestants going overboard with fights.
"I don`t like it at all. I just feel that there is always somebody younger and somebody older who is watching the show. So, if I am a parent, I would not want my kids to watch such obnoxious stuff on TV. I understand when contestants get into genuine fights inside the house, but don`t appreciate it when they fight only to create noise and get publicity,"
Salman was quoted as saying.
While the show is promoted as a family show, the content aired on it — right from the cat fights to the language used — is far from it.
And now with the host of the show himself confessing that he would not want his kids to watch something like that, it`s time the audiences gave it a second thought.

‘Phata Poster Nikhla Hero’ review: Watch it if you are a Shahid Kapoor fan!

After rom-com ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’, Rajkumar Santoshi’s ‘Phata Poster Nikhla Hero’ comes across as a simple childlike Hindi film that now is a rarity. The film starring Shahid Kapoor and Ileana D’Cruz is one of its kinds because the audiences have now matured and expect more than what has already been delivered.
Santoshi’s previous film- ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’- had laughter elements scattered across the film evenly. But that’s not the case with ‘Phata Poster Nikla Hero’, where the audiences are left to wonder whether to laugh or cry!
That’s certainly doesn’t mean that the film isn’t worth a laughter. A number of thoroughly entertaining comic sequences are sporadically placed in the film. Nonetheless, some clichéd filmi scenes peppered on the top somewhat dilute the true essence of the film.
The story is about a small town mother’s aspirations and her dream to see her son becoming an honest police officer. Savitri (Padmini Kolhapure) wants her son Vishwas (Shahid Kapoor) to join the police force. But her son is a wannabe actor who cannot think of anything beyond films.
Savitri, raises her son with great difficulties and instils good values in him. She doesn’t want him to indulge in anything that is unethical. But her son has other plans.
The acting ka keeda in him tempts him to opt for a different route to build a career- yes a career in films. He dreams of becoming a superstar.
The wannabe actor gives a miss to his enrolment in the Mumbai police for his Bollywood aspirations. His chance encounter with real goondas while he is wearing a fake Police uniform helps him meet his ladylove Kajal (Ileana D’Cruz).
Kajal, who is a socially responsible young woman, is stumped by Vishwas’s daredevilry as he accidentally becomes a catalyst in rescuing an innocent girl from the clutches of the goondas.
And the silsila of Kajal’s misunderstanding continues. In the meanwhile, Vishwas gets the shock of his life when he is informed of his mother’s arrival to the city. And the troubled son looks for ways to keep pretending to be a Police Officer.
But how long will Vishwas be able to keep his mother’s Vishwas in him intact. The remaining part of the film answers the question.
Coming to the acting- ‘Phata Poster Nikhla Hero’ is an out and out Shahid Kapoor film. The actor delivers applause worthy performance in the film which has him in the limelight from the start to finish. ‘Barfi!’ girl Ileana has very little screen space yet manages to impress. And ‘fabulous’ is the word for veteran Padmini Kolhapure.
The songs in the film are a treat to the ears. The picturisation of the song ‘Mere Bina Tu’ will certainly remind you of ‘Tu Jaane Na’ featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif from Santoshi’s ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’. And the song ‘Main Rang Sharbaton Ka’ by Atif Aslam and Chinmayi Sripada is truly melodious.
PPNH in totality doesn’t have too much to offer apart from Shahid’s flawless performance. The screenplay was good but the story failed to hold the attention of the audiences.
The first half of the film promises sheer entertainment. But the film goes flat in the latter half. Santoshi’s idea was good but perhaps he failed to implement it well.
If you want to take your kids for a movie, then ‘Phata Poster Nikla Hero’ is definitely a good choice this weekend. And even otherwise if you still want to watch the film, do not go with great expectations.

Hazel Keech first to exit 'Bigg Boss-Saath 7' house

New Delhi: British-Indian actress Hazel Keech Saturday became the first celebrity to get evicted from the house of reality television show `Bigg Boss-Saath 7` after spending just six days there. She says she will treasure the experience for the rest of her life.
"`Bigg Boss` has been a great experience and I will treasure it for rest of my life," Hazel said in a statement.
The 26-year-old was placed in the hell section of the house, and she had befriended everyone there.
Hazel maintained a low profile on the show, but she participated actively in the `wheel task` on the show. Despite her language barrier, the actress was seen taking much effort in learning to talk in Hindi.
"It was quite easy for me to adapt to the place in spite of the limitations and it fortunately worked well for me. I met new people, made friends and also learnt that it is very important to have a positive energy when you are in the house," she added.
The actress is known for sharing screen space with actor and host of the show Salman Khan in the movie `Bodyguard`. Before she had entered `Bigg Boss`, she had said in an interview that she will try to adjust with everyone in the house.
"I am not the kind of person who can have an agenda or try to be anyone else, who I am not. I will try and adjust and do the best which I can," she had said.
Now the `Bigg Boss-Saath 7` house is left with 14 contestants, who will struggle to survive inside the house surrounded by as many as 72 cameras.

Bollywood has no stories to tell: John Abraham

New Delhi: John Abraham, who has been propagating off-beat and "sensible" films in a space full of masala entertainment, believes that Bollywood currently lacks "sensible" stories to tell.
"We lack stories. We have no stories to tell. We put five songs with five comedy scenes and say it`s done," John told reporters in an interview.
That`s one reason why the 40-year-old is loving and enjoying every bit of his new role as a film producer. Thanks to it, he is being able to serve the audience with eclectic movies - the entertaining "Vicky Donor" and the engaging "Madras Cafe".
"I love the role of a producer because I make the kind of films which I want to make. I make sensible films. I think `Vicky Donor` and `Madras Cafe` are examples enough about the cinema which I want to propagate," he said.
John, who has been in the film industry for a decade, is all for a healthy mix of genres at the box office.
"While we keep making formula films, as a producer and an actor, I want to say let`s make sensible films which the audience will accept. I want to thank them for accepting a film like `Madras Cafe`," he said of his movie, which focusses on the Sri Lankan civil war.
In fact, now John, a former supermodel, himself is open to the idea of producing a masala film.
"I`d love to produce a big masala film, and I will make sure that you are genuinely entertained by it," he said.
As an actor, he admits it has been "important to be a part of commercial films and to entertain people".
"At the end of the day, people want to laugh and enjoy. But if I am doing a `Race 2`, `Housefull 2`, `Dostana 2` or a `Welcome Back`, it is important that I make sure that a `Madras Cafe` is also made.
"John Abraham is known to do a mix of films. If I do a `New York`, I will do a `Kabul Express` as well. It is important to balance it out," John added.
He says it`s been fun to be a part of true blue Bollywood entertainers.
"I don`t regret it. They are fun. I am not condescending towards them, but it is good to have a balance of both. I love slapstick comedy. The best case in point is `Chennai Express`. I am sure I will enjoy it. But I feel it is interesting to make a `Madras Cafe`," he said.
Irrespective of the genre, the story line is prime.
"I feel that only a good story line can get you respect. Commercial is a by-product, you will make money... but a good story line will get you respect," said John.

Anurag Kashyap angry as 'The Lunchbox' loses Oscar chance

New Delhi: `The Lunchbox` director Ritesh Batra and producer Anurag Kashyap have lashed out at the selection committee for choosing Gujarati film `The Good Road` over their movie as India`s official entry for the Oscars next year.
Kashyap, who has produced the film with Guneet Monga, said he is disappointed because `The Lunchbox` had a good chance of making it to the final five in the Best Foreign Film category.

'Krrish 3' is Hrithik's career best: Vivek Oberoi

Mumbai: Actor Vivek Oberoi says Hrithik Roshan, who features in a triple role in `Krrish 3`, has delivered his career`s best performance in the sci-fi movie.
"`Krrish 3` is one of Hrithik Roshan`s career`s best performance," Vivek said here in an interview.
"To play three characters - Krishna, Krrish and Rohit and to play them so differently in one film...especially there are scenes where they (Hrithik`s characters in the film) are talking to each other and the performances are so beautifully done that they look like different people...It is an outstanding performance," added Vivek.
Directed by Rakesh Roshan, `Krrish 3` is the third film in the franchise that began with `Koi Mil Gaya` in 2003. It also features Priyanka Chopra and Kangana Ranaut.
Vivek even recalls an incident when during the dubbing of the film, he became teary eyed after watching Hrithik`s performance in one of the scenes from the movie.
"When I was dubbing for the film, there was a very emotional scene of Rohit, being played by Hrithik in the film and his performance and emotion in that scene was so deep, so beautiful that it touched my heart deeply. I was choked in that moment," recalled the 37-year-old.
"I couldn`t speak, there were tears in my eyes. I remember stopping the dubbing (in between), came out and called up Hrithik and said,` I love you man, what a performance`," he added.
"So to all the fans of Hrithik out there, I would like to say watch out for `Krrish 3`. It is probably the best performance of his career as yet," Vivek said.
`Krrish 3` releases Nov 4.
