London: Model Kate Moss will celebrate her 40th birthday by posing on the cover of Playboy magazine, founder Hugh Hefner has confirmed.

Moss, 39, will grace the magazine`s 60th anniversary issue, which will be published in December, reported Digital Spy.

Review: 'Rush' Is Fueled by Thrilling Action and a Ton of Heart

Rush

At the center of the fast-paced racing film Rush is one of the most bromantic rivalries you'll see on the silver screen this year. Ron Howard directs the film about 1970s Formula 1 rivals James Hunt (a slimmed down Chris Hemsworth delivering as the cool, lady-killing idol) and Niki Lauda (Daniel Brühl playing his character with a strict reserve fueled by a repressed aggression). Both men were major stars of their time, and their distinct approaches brewed a competitiveness that proves exhilarating to watch on the big screen, not only during many a thrilling race but also during some chest-to-chest and mind-to-mind confrontations.
The actors approach their roles with an honest investment, revealing a nice chemistry between these apparent opposites who actually come to learn they need one another as badly as they want to beat each other. Both men have their flaws, and Howard is able to balance sympathy for the characters at different moments in the film's unfolding drama to make it difficult to decide who we want to cheer for.
Despite this keen approach to characterization, Howard remains a heavy-handed storyteller. During the violent aftermath of one crash, a racer is carried away on a stretcher with a leg wound. He throws in a lingering shot of a close-up of the wound. You know, just so you might get a peek at what bone he broke in the crash. Howard also establishes Hunt as someone with a vomiting issue; the character throws up at least four times over the course of the movie. Okay, we get it.
Rush
But that tendency to overemphasize detail also makes the racing scenes intensely visceral. From the cars whooshing past the screen to the insides of engines, Howard presents it all. Sometimes these scenes only last seconds as montage sequences, collating the most powerful sounds and images in an abstract but impressionistic manner that transcends narrative. Howard should be commended at how much of this story he can pack into montage. The racing scenes become well-balanced against the drama. Neither personal character development nor racing ever overtakes the narrative to the point that the film feels dull either way.
The heavy-handedness, however, also appears in the sometimes obnoxious, often overwrought score by Hans Zimmer. But that same zealous controlling hand benefits the film’s authentic recreation of the era via production design, makeup, and costumes. During the sweeping aerial views of the race tracks, the production team even seems to get the color pattern of tents and people during the era. The privileged women who surrounded these men (including Olivia Wilde and Natalie Dormer) offer little more than set-dressing, as the film is all about these two men. The one who truly ties all these production elements together, however, is the movie's cinematographer, Anthony Dod Mantle, who previously won an Oscar for his work on Slumdog Millionaire. It is his work that captures the light that virtually transports you to the '70s, whether it shines through the trees or the frizzy, layered hair of the actors.
In the end, it all serves to enhance the relationship between Hunt and Lauda. Howard works it all to heightened effect. Sometimes he oversteps the obvious to inspire some eye rolls, but Howard still proves he knows how to make a thrilling film without forgetting its heart.

Arnold Schwarzenegger not starring in Avatar 2, says studio

London: 20th Century Fox has rubbished reports that Arnold Schwarzenegger has been cast in Avatar 2.

A casting denial is unusual for a studio, suggesting that it is perhaps keen to quash the idea of Schwarzenegger being in the James Cameron sequel.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, 20th Century Fox confirmed he would not be starring, following rumours earlier in the week that he has signed up, Metro.co.uk reported.

Schwarzenegger is soon to return to the Terminator franchise for its fifth outing, and next appears in Escape Plan and The Expendables 3, the latter of which is thought to have just cast Frasier`s Kelsey Grammer

Avatar 2, Avatar 3 and a prequel Avatar 4 are expected to shoot all in one go in 2014.

Kanye West's outrageous demands before show

London: Rapper Kanye West demanded that his dressing room carpet be ironed on the `Later... With Jools Holland` show because it was too bumpy.

The 36-year-old rapper caused a stir on the `Later... With Jools Holland` show after he made a series of outrageous requests before taking to the stage to perform, reported Contactmusic.

After turning up for rehearsals in Maidstone, Kent, the star was less than impressed with his studio set and screamed at staff to tear it down and rebuild it to his original plans, before insisting everything in his dressing room be replaced in the colour white, including the walls, sofa and flowers.

The `Black Skinhead` singer joined the Sting and Kings of Leon on the show, but West was adamant that he and his huge entourage should be given more than half of the 15 dressing rooms available to the performers.

However, he really shocked BBC employees when he asked for his carpet to be flattened out with a heated tool as it was too bumpy for his liking.

"Everybody knew Kanye`s reputation for being a handful, but nobody had heard of a request for a carpet to be ironed before. His entourage took over the studio, even though plenty of other stars were present. Luckily once he got to the performance he was very quiet and unassuming," a source said.

Justin Bieber now rapping about 'oral sex'

London: Justin Bieber has once again proved that he has come far away from his clean teen image by featuring in a Maejor Ali`s song ` Lolly `, whose lyrics are based on "oral sex".

The chorus of the track goes "She say she love my lolly, she wanna make it pop, she says she love my lolly, she wanna kiss the top," Metro.co.uk reported.

In the video, a topless bling-wearing 19-year-old Bieber can then be seen rapping his part, which is "Fifty for the necklace, look down at my set list/Got your girlfriend at your crib watching Netflix."

He told the BBC that he thought it was wrong.

London: Justin Beiber has reportedly irked fans of the upcoming `Batman vs. Superman` film, after he posted a picture on Twitter, which suggested that he had been signed up for the superhero flick.

Disgruntled fans took to social media sites to express their anger with one saying that "the would be ruined if that little squirt was in it", and another declared that he would rather kill himself than watch Bieber even have a part in this movie".

However, British boyband Union J said that the ` Baby` singer would do justice to the role.

Later, it was revealed that Beiber was filming a spoof for Will Ferrell-backed website ` Funny Or Die`, as he tweeted `Off to do something funny . . . or die,` in quick succession to his Robin tweet.

` Batman vs. Superman`, which is due to release in July 2015, is the planned sequel to Zack Snyder-directed film ` Man Of Steel `.

LeAnn Rimes happy with her fuller figure

London: Country star LeAnn Rimes says she is glad to have a `little more meat on her` after being pictured looking incredibly thin in 2011.

The 31-year-old singer has overcome issues with anxiety and stress, which she went to rehab for earlier this year, and is feeling much healthier, reported Contactmusic.

"I look back at those photos and think, `Wow, maybe I was a little thin,` but at the time I didn`t think anything about it. I`m glad to have a little more meat on me now," Rimes said.

Speaking about her stint in rehab, she said, "That was just the way my body was handling the stress. Some people stress-eat and I do the complete opposite. So I chose to take time out in rehab and focus on me."

Rimes, who is married to actor Eddie Cibrian, eats healthily, but also never deprives herself of her favourite foods.

"I love tucking into fish and chips, shepherd`s pie and Wagamamas. I try to eat healthily, but I love food too much to give up on anything. Working out helps me to focus and I love to box," she said.

If you’ve managed to climb your way out of the deep dark pit of despair that Breaking Bad threw us all into with last Sunday’s brilliant "Ozymandias", you might want to prepare yourself for even more of Vince Gilligan’s brand of wonderful and torturous television.
Breaking Bad executive producer Peter Gould tweeted on Wednesday that the last two episodes of the series, titled "Granite Statea" and "Felina," are going to be a whopping 75 minutes with commercials, 15 minutes longer than the standard episode.
So if you’re watching the Series finale through thick globs of tears and the screen goes black, don’t worry. You didn't black out from the pain, and this isn’t The Sopranos all over again, you just didn’t set your DVR to record the last couple of harrowing minutes. We're betting that Breaking Bad will have a definitive ending, one that will surely shatter the ratings records set by "Ozymandias" as well as your feeble hearts and minds.

Which is Sherlyn Chopra’s favourite sex position?

`The Kamasutra 3D` babe reveals about the importance of sex and her favourite love-making position. Read on to know more…
Sherlyn Chopra is absolutely uninhibited with her words. The controversial sex siren is known for giving her views on the matters that strictly remain between the sheets for most celebs. These days Sherlyn is busy shooting for her forthcoming film `Kamsutra 3D`, which is touted as India’s official erotic film.

“The film is about the journey of an Indian princess who undergoes mental, emotional, spiritual and sexual transformations while she is in pursuit of her husband. Like the book, the film reiterates the essence of love-making, the lack of which creates an incomparable void in one’s life,” said Sherlyn about the film.

After giving us a comprehensive gyaan on India’s ancient sex manual and the story revolving around it, we wondered if Sherlyn puts the knowledge to use with practicality. So which is her favourite position?“On the top always,” revealed Sherlyn.

After posing nude for the Playboy cover Sherlyn maintains that the whole experience at the Playboy mansion has been liberating for the babe. No wonder Sherlyn is opening up on any topic quite freely! Wink wink!

Jon Gosselin is Waiting Tables and Living in a Cabin in the Woods

PARK CITY, UT - JANUARY 22: TV personality Jon Gosselin attends The Film Lounge at House of Hype on January 22, 2010 in Park City, Utah. (Photo by Michael Bezjian/WireImage)From reality star to reality check, Jon Gosselin has hit rock bottom. According to an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Gosselin has gone from living in a $1.3 million mansion to moving into a cabin unequiped with television or Internet. Oh, and he's waiting tables. The former bad boy of TLC (Ed Hardy T-shirts were so bada** in 2008) has stopped partying in Vegas and instead "now (parties) on a different level."

Just a few years ago, Gosselin was living the high life starring on TLC's über-popular Jon & Kate Plus Eight. The show, which was one of the network's most-watched series, was eventually canceled after Jon was allegedly caught cheating on Kate. So, in the typical fashion of reality stars, Jon wrote a tell-all about his ex-wife, got sued for illegally obtaining information for the book, and is now waiting tables in Pennsylvania as he attempts to pay off his legal fees and provide for his eight kids. While this may be seen as a sad decline for the once famous dad, Gosselin insists that he "has no regrets." In fact, Jon claims he likes being a waiter and isn't struggling to make ends meet. Instead, Gosselin revels in being recognized, and claims, "It's fun and I get to talk to people. And they technically already know me, so they're like 'Are you the guy?' I'm like, 'Yeah, I'm the guy.'"
Well kids, this is just one more lesson of why you should stay in school, not star on reality shows, and maybe save some cash before you have eight kids. Also, don't wear Ed Hardy, just don't.

Vivek Oberoi is the new tax defaulter of Bollywood!

Zee Media Bureau/Resham Sengar

New Delhi: After film maker Ram Gopal Varma getting grilled by the Income Tax department for alleged tax evasion a few weeks ago, it is now the turn of film actor Vivek Oberoi. The IT department has sent notice to the ‘Grand Masti’ actor whose accounts have come under the scanner of the hawk eyed taxmen of India recently.

Reportedly, the Mumbai Service Tax department has slapped a recovery notice of a staggering amount of Rs 40 lacs to Vivek Oberoi. But this is not the first time that the IT department has sent the notice to Vivek. The Service Tax Department had already sent two notices to Vivek earlier but in vain.

It seems that Bollywood’s setting an example for the people in India has gone down the drain. Hope the actors now will get a wake-up call to keep their image clean.

Are Hrithik and Suzanne Roshan heading for divorce?

Zee Media Bureau/Resham Sengar

New Delhi: After living a fairytale for more than a decade, buzz has it that Hrithik and Suzanne Roshan are on the verge of calling it quits owing to matrimony issues.

A daily reports that the root of the problem is Hrithik’s “interests out of the home” which of course, have not gone down well with Suzanne. Their differences have grown to such an extent that the couple does not bother about each other now. Earlier it was also reported that Suzanne had moved out of Hrithik’s house and was staying with her parents. Suzanne hush-hush visit and subsequent disappearance from Rakesh Roshan’s birthday party a few days back, raised many eyebrows. Also, her unusual absence from this year’s Ganesh visarjan at the Juhu beach in Mumbai was also worth noticing as she has always made her presence felt with her hubby and in-laws at the Ganpati celebrations every year.

Well, these are surely signs of things falling apart in the Roshan household. Now that ‘Krrish 3’ is gearing for release this year, the whole matter is being kept low key. However, the break-up might be made official once the film hits the theatres. It goes without saying that if this turns out to true, this one is going to be a really sad news for Hrithk-Suzanne admirers.

‘Bigg Boss 7’: VJ Andy the new Imam Siddique for Salman Khan?

Mumbai: Every new edition of reality show ‘Bigg Boss’ has newer controversies to unfold. And the drama acts as a fodder for the voyeur, who relishes every bit of the action that takes place inside the house.

‘Bigg Boss 7’ hosted by Salman Khan is nothing new. Perhaps it may offer more than what was up for grabs in the platter last year with the introduction of the “jannat” and “jahannum” theories.

Bollywood actor Salman Khan befits the role of the host as he is equally popular for being a hot-headed guy with a magnanimous heart. The hunk of the superstar has had memorable yet awkward experiences with contestants on board the show. And Imam Siddique of season 6 had angered the actor a number of times.

If the latest buzz is anything to go by, then VJ Andy’s mannerisms somewhat reflect that of Imam’s.

Apparently, Andy poked fun at Salman after the actor fumbled while announcing the name of another contestant. The ‘Dabangg’ actor had then taken Andy’s reaction in his stride but reportedly lost his cool when the same was aired.

So will Andy be the new recipient of Salman’s anger bursts?

We will have to wait and watch.

'Bigg Boss 7': Did Ajay Devgn ask Salman Khan to take special care of Tanishaa?

Ajay has apparently asked his good friend to take personal care of Tanishaa

As we had reported earlier that Tanishaa Mukerji, who is one among the 15 contestants in Bigg Boss 7 was desperate to get locked inside the glass-walled house. She wanted to give showbiz yet another chance after a failed career in Bollywood.
We had heard that Kajol, Tanuja and Ajay Devgn were not too happy about Tanishaa entering the mad cap house. They were of an opinion that she would be unable to cope with the drama and back-biting in the house.

Considering all this, Ajay Devgn has apparently asked his good friend Salman Khan who happens to be the host of the reality show to take personal care of Tanishaa. Now Sallu being a good friend of Ajay has instructed the production and crew to keep a close eye on Tanishaa and her requirements.

Even on the premiere night, we saw how Tanishaa and VJ Andy were given the responsibility to decide the fate of other housemates that whether they will be on the heaven or the hell section of the house. Well, we wonder was that too due to Ajay’s special request.

All said and done, the bottom line is that Tanishaa will surely get some extra privileges as compared to other housemates. We wonder if the others would tolerate this special treatment…

Costumes did the magic for Deepika in 'Ram Leela'

Mumbai: If she looked gorgeous as a south Indian girl in `Chennai Express`, Deepika Padukone stuns with her latest Gujarati girl avatar in `Ram Leela`. The actress thanks designer Anju Modi because her costumes helped her get into the character in Sanjay Leela Bhansali`s latest directorial venture.

"Anju has done a fabulous job considering this is her first feature film...I felt in the character the minute I wore the clothes. I felt like Leela," said the actress here in an interview.

"I think that is the most important aspect when a designer comes on board. It`s so important to allow the actor to feel like the character," added the actress who also appreciated Modi`s understanding of colours and cuts.

Set in the backdrop of Gujarat, the film is said to be an adaptation of Shakespeare`s epic love story "Romeo and Juliet", which will see Deepika romancing Ranveer Singh when the film comes out Nov 29.

What? Goat named Shah Rukh in Janaki Vishwanathan's debut Hindi film!

Chennai: National award winning filmmaker Janaki Vishwanathan`s first Hindi film `Bakrapur` has an unusual protagonist in the movie- a goat named Shah Rukh but she has brushed off any reference to the Bollywood superstar.

"It has nothing to do with Shah Rukh Khan. You see people have a tendency to name their pet animals after actors or someone they love. The goat is integral to the story so we needed a name for it... Something catchy," Vishwanathan said when asked if it is an attempt to poke fun at Khan.

"You see, the name is just Shah Rukh which literally means face of the Emperor," she added.

Asked if the 47-year-old actor has reacted or tweeted about this, Vishwanathan said she has not come across any comment so far.

"I have great admiration for him and though I have not personally interacted with him, from the interviews he has done, he seems to have a great sense of humour."

Vishwanathan also said that `Bakrapur` is not a take-off on Cyrus Broacha`s MTV programme `Bakra`. It is just an imaginary title, where everyone makes a fool of everybody else.

"The movie is a social-political satire set against the backdrop of rural India. A multi-layered film, it dwells, at the primary level, on the relationship between eight-year-old Zulfi and his pet goat Shah Rukh. It is also a hilarious take on the complex belief systems in our society and the conflicts that ensue thereon," she said.

The 90-minute film, scripted and directed by her, stars Anshuman Jha, Asif Basra, Faiz Khan, Shameen Khan and Suruchi Aulakh.

Vishwanathan has earlier made four films, three in Tamil. The first film `Kutty` released in 2001 won her two National awards. She did `Kanavu Mei Pada Vaendum` in 2004 and then `Om Obama` seven years later.

Each movie dealt with social issues. `Kutty` focused on child labour while `Kanavu Meipada Vendum` reflected the plight of the devadasi women.
`Om Obama`, about a fictional village in Tamil Nadu and the relationship the hamlet believes it shares with US President Barack Obama, was completed two years ago, but is yet to hit theatres.

The journalist-turned-filmmaker acknowledged that it is difficult to get distributors for these type of movies including `Bakrapur`.

"`Bakrapur` does not have any item number or any masala associated with commercial films. It is tough to get distributors. Not very easy but the trend, I believe, has been changing over the past one year. The climate is changing. I am keeping my fingers crossed," she said.

"I am not focusing on getting awards or film festivals. I just pick up a subject that catches my fancy and work on it."
There are two songs in the movie and has been composed by `Agnee`, a Mumbai-based rock music band.
The movie is expected to hit theatres by year end and they are busy with the final post production work. Vishwanathan also said that they are also planing a peppy promotional song.

Anurag, Abhinav very different filmmakers: Ranbir Kapoor

Mumbai: Actor Ranbir Kapoor, who is working with Anurag Kashyap in ‘Bombay Velvet’ and who has worked with the latter`s brother Abhinav Kashyap in ‘Besharam’, says both the filmmakers differ in their working styles.

"Both of them are very different filmmakers. I am doing a light film with Abhinav in `Besharam`, while Anurag`s `Bombay Velvet` is an intense film," Ranbir said.

‘Besharam’ will witness Ranbir in a street smart role and in "Bombay Velvet", he says he plays a boxer.

"In `Bombay Velvet`, I play an intense character. I am playing boxer. It`s about the 1950s and 1960s. We have already shot for 50 per cent of `Bombay Velvet`. We shot in Sri Lanka. It is an interesting character and an interesting film," said Ranbir, who features in the movie with Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar.

Ranbir is happy to experiment with his roles.

"I am testing myself, but if I don`t try, then there is no fun. I want to break my image and shock the audience. Abhinav wanted to make a simple film. My character is very loud and I have experimented again to do some different genre.

"The audience might slap me and say do films like `Barfi!`, but if I don`t try, how will I get to know," the 30-year-old said.

‘Besharam’, which also features Ranbir`s actor parents Rishi and Neetu Kapoor, will release Oct 2.

Dilip Kumar improving, stop spreading rumours: Friend

Mumbai: Udaya Tara Nayar, actor Dilip Kumar`s close friend, said Thursday he is improving and urged people to desist from spreading rumours about him.

"He is better and his health is improving steadily. He is still in the ICU (intensive care unit), but he is fine," Nayar said.

Dilip Kumar was admitted Sunday evening to the Lilavati Hospital after he complained of uneasiness. Doctors later diagnosed a heart attack.

Nayar requested people not to spread rumours about the thespian, known as one of the greatest actors of Indian cinema.

"For the past few days I have been getting some negative news. Please, stop spreading these kinds of dirty rumours," said Nayar, who also shared a picture of the actor.

Nayar informed that the 90-year-old`s wife and yesteryear actress Saira Banu is by his side all the time.

"Saira has been such a great human being, she is always by his side and praying for him. She does so much for him, she is such a good wife and she has a lot of self-confidence," he said.

Also knonw as Tragedy King, Dilip Kumar was active on the big screen for six decades and from playing the lead roles in films like ‘Jwar Bhata’ ‘Mela’, ‘Naya Daur’, ‘Tarana’, ‘Ganga Jamuna’, ‘Leader’ and ‘Mughal-E-Azam’.
